3D Modeling

Created 3D model and UV maps of structure in Autodesk Maya. Rocks and large trees were created in Zbrush, and retopologized manually in Maya using the Quadro tool. Raptor was created in Maya then detailed in Zbrush.

Topology & Texturing

Retopology of the raptor is created using the quad draw tool in Maya. Texturing of assets were created in Substance Painter. Normal maps from high poly versions of environment assets such as the rock were baked onto the low poly version through Substance Painter as well.

Lighting

We used multiple local volumes to have a personalized lighting effect within different areas of the environment. Increasing the fog levels and the volumetric multiplier also allowed us to simulate volumetric lighting passing through and around the transparent foliage in the environment. Post processing override effects were also added to the scene.
