Background

This project showcases a real-time destructible environment within Unity's high definition render pipeline.

My Contributions:
  • ​Modeling of entire environment seen in video.
  • All optimization techniques and backend setup.
  • All VFX effects using particle effects and Unity's visual node editor.
  • Tool that allows objects to travel and orient itself alongside quadratic Bezier curves.
  • Destruction Physics handling.

3D Assets

All assets were modeled using Autodesk Maya, textured in Substance Painter, and fractured in 3DS Max.

Bezier Curve Path Tool

This tool allows any object to travel alongside multiple quadratic Bezier curve paths that are stored in an list, easily changeable in Unity's inspector view. The objects forward direction will always orient itself to point in the direction of the curve.
